Our Huskies are learning so much about life in Cairo everyday. They have immersed themselves in a new culture and are now able to navigate in a challenging, bustling, and exotic environment.
Its beautiful to see the students develop their own agendas. Planing days, knowing where to go, what to do, who to meet with. What makes me even happier is seeing them do this with ease. They are living life in Cairo normally, and its impressive.
The heard mentality has vanished. No longer are huge groups of students walking down the street, frustrated, trying to find places to eat, shop etc.
Independence has developed, and it is a great site to see.

Interesting blog. I’ve so enjoyed each and every one of them. It’s amazing to see all the gorgeous pictures and follow their journey in print. They appear to be a remarkable group, would I expect anything else from Huskies??? I appreciate all of you for allowing us to share this memorable adventure.

thanks Edwin!!
you’ve played a serious role in getting us acclimated, of course, by supporting our independent adventures and taking us places like the Marriott the first week.
